A Time Sensitive Prayer Request

Hello to our amazing support team!

We just wanted to write a quick email to ask you to join us in prayer. You may know that we are trying to leave for Austria by the end of January. The reasoning behind this intended departure date has to do mostly with applying for our resident's visas. This process has changed a lot in the last couple of years, and how it works currently is that the Austrian government starts fresh with applications each January, throwing out the applications from the previous year. Also, they only give out a certain number of visas per region. When we were in Austria at the end of August, we discussed what to do with our team leaders and they felt that we should try to get to Austria by January and apply for them there. That way, while we waited the eight or so months to receive our visa, we could be going to language school and beginning our ministry at the Oasis. Our Plan B was that if we were not financially ready to leave in January, we would apply at the Austrian consulate in Los Angeles. The problem with Plan B is that we would then have to wait in California in order to personally pick up our visas upon receiving them, not knowing how many months that could take.

We ask you to please join us in praying that we will receive pledges for the final $1,500 monthly (that we need to get to Austria) within the next couple of weeks. We know that this is not impossible with God and have seen how He has provided in amazing ways thus far, and is daily adding to our support level. Please pray that we would know God's timing… whether it is to leave by the end of the month or later in the year. Also, pray that we will trust God wholeheartedly in the decisions we need to make and not try to rely on our own plans. We thank each of you for joining us in prayer, we are strengthened and encouraged by your prayers and we know that without prayer none of this would be possible. We can't wait to be sending you our itinerary for our departure.

With lots of love,
Dan and Regan
