Dear Family and Friends,

We hope you have had a wonderful Thanksgiving with family and friends! We are very thankful for each and every one of you and your continued support of us and the Oasis ministry. It has been hard to be away from the ministry, but we are thankful that we have gotten to see so many of you during this time. We look forward to returning to Austria on December 27th.

We ask for your continued prayers for us during this time. One big prayer request is for our visa situation. Since there were not enough spots for us to get a visa this year, we will reapply in Austria on January 2nd. This is the first day we can apply for 2009. Please pray that all will go smoothly in this process and that we will receive our visas in 2009.

Please continue to pray for the refugees who come through the Oasis. Since we've been away, a very exciting program has started at the Oasis. There has been a growing number of Afghani refugees.  They have been packing out the Wednesday and Thursday night programs.  So, as of about 6 weeks ago, the Oasis has opened the doors on Tuesday nights for Afghani's to come, ask questions and to take a closer look at what the Bible says. This study has been lead by an Iranian believer and has grown from 20 to 50 people in a short amount of time. There is an Afghani believer in the group who asks purposeful questions in order for the others to hear the answers. We are so excited hear how God is working among this people group!  Please keep these men and women in your prayers. There is an incredible amount of peer pressure in Islam and we pray that nothing will stand in the way of the Gospel message finding its way into the hearts of these men and women.

Please continue to pray for Regan as she is 31 weeks along. Pray that our little baby boy grows strong and healthy.  Also, that there will be no problems as we travel back to Austria and prepare for the coming of our baby.

We're thankful that we were able to share with many of you in Omaha and Salina when we were in the Midwest. For those of you in California, we will be sharing at Oakhurst Evangelical Free Church on Sunday, December 14th at 6pm. We look forward to seeing you there.
