 Before we are able to leave for Austria, we also need your support financially. Our biggest financial need at this point is for monthly supporters. We recently returned to Omaha, NE after five weeks of missionary training in Elgin, IL, home of IT USA. We were there from September 8th to October 12th. During our time at training, we learned so many things about International Teams as an organization, about ourselves as people called by God to serve Him using the gifts and personalities He has given us, about how we can be prepared for cross-cultural ministry and the challenges that will bring, and about what God is doing throughout the world. Our time at training was wonderful. We continued to see God confirm our call to serve in Austria throughout our time in Elgin. The more we learned about IT as an organization, the more certain we are that this is the right fit for us. Going through training with 13 other missionaries who had experienced similar calls to go to places like Bolivia, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Mexico, Minneapolis, MN, and Australia was such a blessing to us. We were able to make some great friends and encourage one another throughout the training process. Training was a time of spiritual rejuvenation and a flood of information. We want to thank those of you who are following God’s call in your own life to make it possible for missionaries like us to serve the Lord as His “witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” (Acts 1:8)
